			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tulisan saat ini membicarakan sesuatu hal ringan yang biasa ditemui dan menjadi rutinitas  bidang <em>engineering</em> yg sebagai <em>student</em> maupun <em>practicing</em>. Kalkulator, sebuah alat bantu hitung yang biasa dibawa kemana2 terutama ujian matapelajaran yang melibatkan banyak hitungan. Tanpa alat bantu tsb dijamin tidak bisa berkutik dibangku ujian seperti yg sya alami waktu ujian ke II dulu :( dikantongin org karena ujian di hall besar bercampur dgn kelas dan fakultas lain.</p>

<p>Saat ini mungkin keberadaannya tersisihkan dgn adanya komputer/netbook, program aplikasi desktop calculator sifatnya interpreter atau kategori <em>high level language</em> programs. Cirinya cenderung mudah digunakan ketimbang bahasa pemrograman C++/Fortran dan tanpa perlu kompilasi. Program aplikasi desktop calculator ada yang sederhana ada juga yang canggih dapat melakukan perhitungan rumit yang melibatkan pencabangan (<em>branching</em>) dan perulangan (<em>iteration</em>). masing-masing <em>developer</em> team/<em>individuals</em> mempunyai orientasi yg berbeda2, sedangkan distribusinya ada yang komersil dan free. Program yg dapat digunakan sebagai desktop calculator yang bersifat komersil diantaranya adalah:<a href="http://www.ptc.com/products/mathcad/" target="_blank">Mathcad</a>, <a href="http://www.mathworks.com/products/matlab/index.html" target="_blank">Matlab</a>, <a href="http://www.wolfram.com/mathematica/" target="_blank">Mathematica</a>, <a href="http://www.maplesoft.com/products/maple/" target="_blank">Maple </a>dll. sedangkan yang bersifat free diantaranya adalah: <strong>Scilab</strong>, <strong>Smath Studio</strong>, <strong>Reinteract</strong>, <strong>Speq Math</strong>, <strong>CompPad OOo</strong>, dll. Akses program komersil yang hanya memungkinkan saat ini bagi saya adalah Matchcad(explorer), beberapa program untuk desktop calculator yg ditinjau lainnya adalah yg bersifat <em>free</em> saja.</p>

<p>Semua program aplikasi <em>free</em> diatas biasa (berganti-ganti dlm dekade tertentu) sya gunakan untuk keperluan perhitungan teknik. Berdasarkan pengalaman sya pribadi, melihat karakter aplikasi mempunyai orientasi yang berbeda. Seperti program <strong>Scilab</strong> berorientasi ke manipulasi matrix, <strong>Speq</strong> <strong>Math</strong> untuk perhitungan sederhana, <strong>Reinteract</strong> yang mengandalkan program Python beserta add-ins module, <strong>Smath</strong> <strong>Studio</strong> yg mampu menampilkan seperti kertas perhitungan yang tampilan mirip buku teks, <strong>CompPad OOo</strong> yang mengedepankan kemampuan word processor OpenOffice.org Writer dgn Java. Masing-masing program mempunyai features spesifik masing-masing, pengguna bebas memilih sesuai kebutuhan. Karena program bersifat free, yg berminat tinggal download lalu mencobanya sendiri untuk kemudian dapat memilih mana yang sesuai kebutuhan tingkat kerumitan perhitungan.</p>
<p>Kriteria dalam suatu pemilihan aplikasi yg sesuai mungkin dapat didasarkan features dan kecepatan. Kemampuan program atau features diantaranya dukungan penggunaan satuan (<em>US-CGS-SI units</em>), pencabangan (<em>if-then-else</em>), <em>solver</em> atau pembuatan algorithm iterasi perulangan memenuhi suatu persyaratan nilai hasil tertentu, kemudahan input dan editing serta penggunaan ulang lembar kerja (<em>re-use</em>), gambar ilustrasi dan plot grafik/kurva. Hal lainnya adalah kecepatan proses, namun ini kadang tidak terlalu menjadi masalah karena kecepatan komputer sekarang yg sudah mempunyai processor tinggi dan ram besar, selain itu lembar kerja perhitungan yang dapat dipecah (<em>splitting</em>) menjadi beberapa lebar halaman saja.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">Beberapa model sederhana diatas ditempuh untuk verified hasil penerapan rigid links penghubung element <em>frame</em> dan element <em>shell</em> atau <em>solid</em>. Pada hubungan element frame dan shell shell biasa digunakan untuk study konsentarasi tegangan daerah titik pertemuan misal balok-kolom baja pengaruh <em>haunched</em> dan <em>stiffener</em>, leleh pada <em>gusset plate</em> pada rangka batang, dll. Pemodelan element <em>shell</em> hanya baik digunakan untuk perilaku lentur dan geser bidang, sedangkan perilaku yang kompleks yaitu torsi dan puntir beserta geometri tidak teratur perlu pengggunaan element <em>solid</em>.</p>

Dalam meredukdi jumlah <em>nodes</em> perlu pemodelan batang double siku hanya dimodelkan tunggal dengan merepkan kondisi simetri.</p>

<p style="text-align:left;">Pada kasus yang ditinjau saat ini, hasil analisa struktur dgn program bantu SAP menunjukkan adanya 5(lima) titik leleh pada <em>gusset plate</em>. Selain itu juga menunjukan adanya momen sekunder akibat kekangan rotasi titik buhul yang menggunakan sambungan las, dalam kasus ini besarnya adalah sekitar +10% dari tegangan utama/normal (axial), namun disi lain adanya penggunaan faktor panjang effektiff K=1.0 yang lebih besar dari susungguhnya akan memberikan angka aman lebih. <p>I took simple frame models to check, it contains secondary beams with different stiffness near to 4 times lower compared to main beams.</p>

<p>Pada tulisan ini akan dipelajari distribusi tegangan elastis dibawah pondasi dari beberapa jenis pondasi tersebut diatas. Analisa elemen hingga jenis plane strain menggunakan program bantu SAP. Walaupun jenis analisa masih elastis terlihat cukup dalam memprediksikan, namun akan lebih baik juga jika dilakukan dgn program bantu spesifik interaksi pondasi tanah yg advanced seperti PLAXIS sehingga dapat merepresentasikan <em>interface</em> dan <em>nonlinearitas</em> material tanah serta pola keruntuhan (<em>failure surfaces</em>).</p>

<p>Terlihat jenis cangkang menunjukan distribusi tegangan tanah dan penurunan yg lebih rendah dibanding pondasi tapak biasa. Pada tegangan sendiri pelat pondasi juga memperlihatkan bahwa jenis cangkang menjadikan tegangan tekan beton (<em>compression</em>)  lebih merata yg berarti pembesian tarik akan minimum.</p>
<p>Banyak penelitian menunjukkan bahwa defleksi dari hasil analisa linear elastis FE biasanya lebih kecil dari sesungguhnya dgn selisih berkisar separuhnya, seperti diperlihatkan salah satu contoh grafik dibawah ini (Weber J.W., etall &#8211; 1984).</p>
